01.11.11 RBA has been appointed to plan and supervise the remodelling and modernisation of several apartments at Carl-Herz-Ufer beside Urbanhafen in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The apartments are to be designed in a modern, open style and will be marketet direct by the project development company.


31.10.11 Only the windows are missing. Ronski+Burke is pleased that the remodelling and extension of the community hall for the Anatolian Aleviten in Berlin-Kreuzberg is nearing completion. We carried out planning, approvals and fire safety concept, tendering and site supervision for the project which involved changes to the internal layout and the extension of the main kitchen on the ground floor.


01.10.11 Completion of the Prenzlauer Allee project. Remodelling and modernisation of three small apartments to a high standard for Next Estate GmbH.


27.12.10 Ronski+Burke has been selected to plan and supervise to completion the modernisation and revitalisation of a 1920s estate in Berlin-Steglitz. The estate consists of 12 apartment blocks with a total of approx. 11,000 m² lettable area. The project includes insulation of facades, modernisation of staircases and the addition of 44 new balconies.


06.12.10 Ronski+Burke has been selected to develop a further 300m² roof conversion located at Lohmeyer Straße in Berlin-Charlottenburg. The property can be purchased as either one or two apartments.


01.06.10 Ronski+Burke has been tasked with the development of a site in Berlin-Rudow. Located between the motorway A 113 to airport Berlin-Schoenefeld, a large location for industry / logistics and the green belt "Landschaftspark Rudow / Alt- Glienicke" a new commercial complex is to be developed.


18.12.09 Ronski+Burke have just been confimed as architects and general planners for the listed former AEG industrial complex in Berlin-Oberschöneweide (Rathenau Hallen). The owners of the 70,000 m² site are revitalising the complex with a mix of small scale commercial tenants, trade fairs and artists' ateliers.


06.11.09 Ronski+Burke are confimed as service providers for the second phase of the remodelling and modernisation of the Anatolian Alevi community centre in Berlin-Kreuzberg and will provide general planning and project management services to realisation. The first phase, also completed by RBA, involved installation of an acoustic ceiling and refurbishment of the main meeting hall.


28.09.09 Ronski+Burke have just been commissioned to design and realise two roof conversions with three units each in Friedenau and in Friedrichshain, with a total of 330 m² and 360 m² respectively. Marketing is to begin immediately for these luxury apartments and maisonettes with high standards of finishing, fit out and materials. 06.06.09 Ronski+Burke has just completed planning and fit out of a telecommunications call centre in Hennigsdorf near Berlin for the Archon Group.

RBA was commissioned to provide architectural services from conception to handover for the fit out of a vacant office complex as a call centre. Work carried out involved renewal of ceiling and lighting, renewal of floor and wall finishes and installation of new glazed and solid partition walls throughout.

The call centre technical infrastructure is housed in two technical suites which required high levels of planning and co-ordination of electrical, ventilation, fire safety and air conditioning planners and service providers.


08.05.09 Opening night at the new Prime Time Theater in Berlin-Wedding.

Ronski+Burke are providing support to the Prime Time Theater which is to move from its present location to a new 210-seat location which will receive a complete new fit out.

Ronski+Burke has been tasked with preparing the planning application and managing specification and construction contracts as well as providing support during the construction phase. Current planning aims to achieve completion by the end of April with the premiere at the new location scheduled for the 8th of May 2009.

The Prime Time presents an ongoing “theatre sitcom” five times a week at 8.15 p.m. The sitcom, “Gutes Wedding, schlechtes Wedding” (the name comes from “Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten”, one of the most popular German TV-series), is a comic homage to this Berliner working-class district characterised by its mix of working class German and immigrant personalities and after almost five years of continuous performance has now reached episode 57. 14.11.08 Ronski+Burke has just completed two refurbishment projects.

In Cologne-Ossendorf the second phase of the refurbishment of a vacated office and logistics complex has just been completed and the tenant has moved in. Logistic Act GmbH (www.logisticact.de) is a firm specialising in event- and marketing logistics, with a number of high-profile clients such as SonyEricsson and Epson. At the end of 2007.

Ronski+Burke completed the first phase of the refurbishment of several thousand square meters of office and warehousing for Leica Geosystems. Further vacant areas are being marketed by AtisReal in Cologne.

The second project recently completed is the refurbishment for marketing purposes of one floor and the main entrance of an office block in Hamburg-Wansbek. This involved provison of a wheelchair lift, renewal of lighting and flooring, renewal of suspended ceilings, renewal and modernisation of toilets and remediation of fire safety issues within the building. A new parking area with 39 spaces was created by clearing away obsolete industrial sheds. The office building is being marketed by Savills and Grossmann & Berger in Hamburg.


12.05.08 Construction has commenced in Neue Schönholzer Straße in Pankow. RBA has provided architectural services including design, planning permission, production drawings and specifications to the project developer Anton Schmittlein Construction. The project involves complete refurbishment and modernisation of 8 apartments, conversion of the attic to two new apartments and conversion of the rear side wing to two maisonette units with internal staircases. All upstairs units will be provided with spacious balconies and finished to high standards. Some few units are still available for purchase with more details available from the developer.


30.04.08 RBA announces the completion of the complete refurbishment and remodelling of Neue Bahnhofstr. 20-21 in Berlin-Friedrichshain. The project consists of 31 apartments of between 1 and 4 rooms and 2 commercial units. RBA provided architectural, structural engineering and services and engineering services as general planner for all phases of the project.
