The task involved provision of project monitoring services during the construction phase of an old peoples home in Bremerhaven, a major port in North Germany. The home provides a modern standard with generous common areas and individual sanitary areas for residents and is located directly adjacent to the Geeste river and in view of the Weser, the main port estuary. RBA reviewed contract and planning documentation and commented on the suitability of the design pre-construction and during the construction phase RBA carried out regular site visits to monitor progress and quality. The developer was Marseille Clinics, a major player in the German medical WSP Environmental GmbH services sector.
